A great thriller. Lots of twists and turns. Loved the characters, good and bad. The question throughout the book what happened to Megan intrigued me.
I thought a few times throughout that i knew what was going to happen but by the end of the book the twists were something I was not prepared for.
This booked had me hooked from start to finish. Short chapters which would always finish on a cliffhanger made me think, "Well I'll just read one more...and another...and another," etc. etc. This book was thrilling, exciting and in parts very emotional. So many twists and turns - an excellent read!
A very well written book, with a twisting plot line that will keep surprising you along the way as the full story slowly unfolds.
It's like a 'Who Done It?' within a 'Who Done It?' spanning more than 20 years.
The dialogue is realistic and humorous throughout.
A difficult book to put down that keeps you guessing right to the last page.
I was gripped reading this book right from the start. Very cleverly written, in a way that makes you feel you've a genuine interest in the lives of these people. A few unexpected twists, it keeps you guessing right up until the final page.
Different genre from his other books but well observed and entertaining, hard to put down.
